Rainbow Obsidian is a type of black obsidian that showcases iridescent bands of colors, including green, purple, blue, and gold, when polished and exposed to light. These colors appear due to the inclusion of magnetite nanoparticles and the way light diffracts on them. This volcanic glass is believed to have grounding and protective properties, offering emotional healing by helping to release negativity. It's also associated with bringing love and light into one's life, promoting optimism and a deep sense of joy.
